within the London area. It is an independent organisation which, it
is not affiliated to any other group/organisation/philosophy. Also,
it is politically neutral.
'The Open Network' membership is free to individuals.
'The Open Network' focuses on what unite us, rather then what divide
us.
Members are automatically put on
`The Open Network' Online monthly newsletter. We can put members
project or activity in the newsletter to contact others with the same
interest. Members can contact each other & put forward ideas
& activities to other members.

The objectives of The Open
Network are:-
- To implement ideas &
initiatives for community development.
- To set up groups or
projects that benefit the individual and the local
community.
- To gradually develop a
strategy called the `Regional
Networking System' for
the London area.
- To link individuals to the
community, by networking on a local or Londonwide
basis.
- A long-term aim of having a
network in every borough in London.
- These boroughwide networks
could then link with existing local organisations to form
neighbourhood networks.
