The objectives of The Open Network are:- • To implement ideas & initiatives for community development. • To set up groups or projects that benefit the individual and the local community. • To gradually develop a strategy called the `Regional Networking System' for the London area. • To link individuals to the community, by networking on a local or Londonwide basis. • A long-term aim of having a network in every borough in London. • These boroughwide networks could then link with existing local organisations to form neighbourhood networks..
